Development Player Pathway

The development player pathway is designed around a criteria of GASP – Game Sense, Attitude, Skill Set and Physical Potential and also revolves all learning and coaching on the RFU Principles of Play and CARDS system – Creativity, Awareness, Resilience, Decision-Making and Self-Organisation.

The DPP is split into North, Mid and South Durham with all ages now attending the centres at the same time to enable coaches to work with players and challenge them at sessions.
